Our Story

When Brandon G. Green and Elle Borders first met, they were working on a theatrical production called We Are Proud to Present... They became fast friends and collaborators. By closing night of the show, they were in love. 

 

He was cast as Actor 2. She was cast as Actor 6. 2+6 Equals 8. 

​

Now, after nearly a decade of marriage and numerous theatrical endeavors, they are combining their talents to create new media, focusing their artistry on social justice, transformation, education and engagement.

Brandon G. Green

Brandon G. Green is an award-winning creative artist, actor, writer, and educator from Selma, Alabama. Recent acting credits include Sweat (Huntington Theatre Company); Nat Turner in Jerusalem (Actors’ Shakespeare Project); Black Odyssey Boston (Front Porch Arts Collective/Underground Railway Theater); Romeo & Juliet and King Lear (Commonwealth Shakespeare Company); The Scottsboro Boys (SpeakEasy Stage Company, IRNE Winner), The Wiz and Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play (Lyric Stage Company of Boston); Joan of Arc at the Stake (Odyssey Opera); An Octoroon and We are Proud to Present...(Company One Theatre/Arts Emerson). He received the 2016 Elliot Norton Award for Best Actor.

Other credits include work with 3050 Music Group, Brand New Classic, Central Square Theater, Cape Repertory Theatre, JAG Productions, Fresh Ink Theatre Company, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, as well as the podcast The Ordinary Epic (Crose to Home Productions).

Green received his B.A. from Alabama State University and an M.F.A. from Brandeis University. In addition to writing and performing, he has taught a range of performance and movement-based courses at Brandeis, MIT, University of Massachusetts Boston, and with Daniel Beaty’s I Dream Project.

Elle Borders

Elle is a Boston based Actress, Voiceover Artist, Writer and Educator. Recent credits include Cassandra/Ensemble in the World Premier of Common Ground Revisited (Huntington Theatre Company); The Light (WAM Theatre-Special Presentation); Mr. Joy (Kitchen Theatre Company- Special Presentation); We All Fall Down (Huntington Theatre Company); Black Odyssey Boston (Front Porch Arts Collective/Underground Railway Theater- 2020 Elliot Norton Award Best Ensemble); The Wiz (Lyric Stage Company); An Octoroon, We Are Proud to Present… (Company One Theatre/ArtsEmerson); World premiere of How Soft the Lining (Bad Habit Productions); A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Othello (Actors’ Shakespeare Project).

Elle holds a BFA in Acting from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Elle enjoys working on pieces that blend art, activism and education. Her greatest joy in life is performing/creating with her husband Brandon G. Green.
